Moon Laughs

Moon Laughs

Moon Laughs

Written: © Maxima

Sitting all night
Just dandy
Hanging out
Hat pushed high
Above my forehead
Loving the smell of
Brandy,
Cigars and
Grilled roasted chicken.
Moon laughs
Pupils spread…
I just wonder if
Our confidence is
On the bottle,
On hot brandy,
On the grains of hope
And winking at
Each other’s particular
Pulls and throws,
As it speaks
And then crawls
Towards dawn.

i love the moon. to me it is a person who looks down on us and sees so much – alwyas keeping a watchful eye – never judging, just watching. beautiful piece:)
