Isn’t that funny,
Other lovers wait for the dawn
To pledge their love.
But us,
This bliss we share,
Excites the dawn,
Who’s so eager to see
How we end our day.
Morning smiles,
As we let our bodies retire:
I wait till
You fully close your eyes.
To thee,
I gently damp
A thousand kisses,
That tease the dawn
Of something
Everyone always long
And dreamed of.
The morning dew kissing the petals
The sunbeams in window pane,
The passion remains vivid
In mind,
Though you’re unaware.
I am mesmerized by
Your angelic face.
Your cheek rosier
And more delicate
Than any petals
Thy avid lover
Wishes to take,
Oh my sweetest fate!
I still watch while you sleep–
Such perfect moment
To cuddle your hair,
Love
And silly wishes
Are still in the air.
