The Song On This Side Of The Ocean

The song on this side of the ocean

Written: © Maxima

The pink color on the walls slowly melts
Beaten earth floor slowly disappearing from memory -
The gray cobwebs between the legs of wooden chair,
No longer at its feet
Neither by the porch.
Brandy and the red wine
We alternately toss
From autumn to spring
Still they haven’t kick in.
Though I seem like
A tipsy
Sighing furnace,
I still can hear you throb.
I remain hungry for your kisses,
Passionately caressing
The proud breasts;
I am still thirsty
For all of you.
From green skies to blue,
Over vast fields.
I hear nothing
Not a chirp,
Nor a tweet,
Neither, hustles
Nothing!
Just you,
And me,
Us,
Our bodies
Do the talking.

Lovely! Though sultry, it’s artistically written. So, kudos to you, Stefan!
